View into the new oil condensing unit WTC-OW. (Image: Weishaupt)The outstanding features of the oil condensing unit WTC-OW are its efficient energy usage and quiet operation. Here, the modulating pre-mix oil burner plays a crucial role. Modulating means that the condensing unit is fully variable when adapting itself to the energy requirements. This means that in comparison to single or two stage units, significantly less start emissions are created and thus fuel is saved. Furthermore an efficiency of 104 percent (Hi=104.7%, Hs=98.2%) is achieved due to perfect matching of the exchanger, burner and controls.
Low electrical consumption and compact dimensions
The Weishaupt oil condensing system not only uses fuel oil sparingly, it is equipped with an energy saving pump, which uses considerably less electricity than standard pumps. The WTC-OW is also space-saving. The compact condensing unit is mounted direct to the wall and with it’s depth of only 60 centimetres requires little space.
