Environmental protection starts at home

The climate of our planet concerns all.
Climate change is on everyone’s lips. The fact that it does not just remain a political discussion, but is acted upon is shown in initial reactions from politics and industry. For example: At the beginning of 2008, the german energy passport will presumably show how effective the energy budget of properties really is. The use of a modern heating system will no doubt contribute to a positive balance. Alongside modern oil and gas condensing boilers and solar collectors for water heating and to support central heating, another economical and environmentally friendly technology is establishing itself in the market of heating systems: The heat pump for the elements air, water and soil.
Effective eco-friendliness.

The Weishaupt heat pumps as particularly economical and environmentally friendly heating systems.
The heat pump is one of the most environmentally friendly heating systems currently available in the market. It is characterised by particularly high efficiency, very long running times and low operating costs, because ...
Three quarters of the heat is for free
Perfect for energy savers, ideal for environmentalists: The heat pump. Everyone likes something for nothing. What would you say if you only had to pay for a quarter of your total heating energy? Would you say "No, thank you"? Presumably your curiosity would be wakened and you would want to know more about it.
A perpetual motion machine?

Energy from nature – from the soil, from water and from the air.
Even if the thought of a device, which produces more energy than it consumes is enticing, the heat pump is no such device. You have to supply a quarter of the energy, the other 3/4 are generated by the sun, who’s energy is stored in the soil, in the water and in the air. The heat pump utilises this stored heat and, with your help it generates heating energy for your home. The only thing you need to add is electricity, which constitutes only one quarter of the total energy yield. By the way, the electricity used to operate a heat pump is usually available at a reduced tariff from your energy supplier.
Energy from the elements air, water, soil
Over the year our sun stores much energy in the soil. Even if we think of ground frost and frozen plants in winter, there is still energy rich soil below our feet with temperatures which the heat pump can use. Even the air, which can be bitterly cold in winter, still has energy that can be utilised by the heat pump for heating purposes. The warmest element, even in the deepest winter, is water from which the water heat pump extracts energy. The groundwater, which has an almost constant temperature of approx. 10 degrees Celsius throughout the year, is the most efficient heat source.
