The distribution of weather stations in the Canton of Appenzell-Ausserrhoden is shown by this map. These stations provide us with current data, e.g. air temperature and humidity (2 meters above ground), wind speed and wind direction (10 meters above ground), as well as sunshine duration, amount of precipitation and air pressure. This enables us to create forecasts with pinpoint precision for every single station.
